Academic support is available at the junior high and senior high levels.
Eligible students include those who are on Academic Watch or Probation, who need to pass an Ohio Graduation Test, or who are having difficulty in a particular subject or with certain skills (study, test-taking or organizational). Teachers can refer students as well.
Free assistance is provided by one of the three certified teachers. This may take the form of one-to-one tutoring, small group tutoring, or with the use of a peer tutor.
Students may come to the M&M building for help before school, during study halls, during lunch, or after school.
Junior high students’ schedules are arranged through the Guidance office. An additional program for junior high students, H.O.P.E. (homework help, organizational skills development, personal attention, and encouragement) is available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:20 – 4:00pm in room 244.
Senior high students contact Mrs. Miller or Miss Runyon to arrange times for help.
Feel free to contact one of the teachers listed if you have questions or would like to discuss the program.
