| WHO ARE THE ROYAL FOOLS?
The Royal Fools is a Christian improvisational comedy group made up of CVCA juniors and seniors that seeks to entertain using clean humor. While we seek to be "fools" in the court-jester sense, we are also mindful of 1Cor 3:18: "Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool so that he may be wise."
WHAT'S IMPROV?
If you have not heard of improvisational comedy before, it is theater where everything is made up on the spot based on audience suggestions. It requires some quick thinking, reliance on and trust in your fellow improvers, and commitment to acting out whatever you are given, no matter how strange. In short, it's a lot of fun!

We practice once per week all school year, with the goal of having 3 shows per year. The group was started in 2004, by nine brave students, and is directed by Matt Riordan. The Royals Fools logo was designed by Michelle LaNasa, class of 2005. |
